My writing process is tempestuous at best. Ideas for novels and song lyrics have been born on bar napkins and in notebooks, on a lazy Sunday afternoon and on the crushing Monday morning commute. Poetry has been composed under the mesmerizing heat of the Arizona sun and in the depths of a sullen Minnesota midwinter night.

Each time, the heady buzz of inspiration mingles with the electric rush of capturing a moment, putting words to a vision before it escapes. Possibilities are boundless, “wordsparks” are infinite. Some fizzle out before they can ignite to flame.
